Audrey and Matthew are tasked with creating a new game to help players find romance. As they try to work together, they discover something they have in common: they each have a lot to learn about love.
Audrey is a game designer who has never really cared about appearances or what other people think. Conversely, Matthew is a marketing consultant who believes in carefully “curating” every aspect of his life. When Matthew is brought on to work with Audrey on her company’s new board game designed around the different aspects of love and relationships, the irony is obvious, since neither of them has ever been in love before. Initially, they detest working together, and as the deadline for their game draws nearer, it seems as if they are partnered up in an inevitable disaster.
