Social media travel writer Caroline Williams is sent to Carte De Amor, New Mexico on an assignment where she meets high school teacher Oscar Ortiz, who introduces her to another side of Christmas.
On the verge of a big promotion, Caroline Williams, a successful travel writer, must go to New Mexico over the holidays to write her latest Yule Blog, despite not celebrating Christmas herself for many, many years. Her blog coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Carta de Amor Christmas Parade. A parade that has weathered time, depressions, and wars; it’s an institution. Despite her initial negativity and lacklustre response towards the small town of Carta de Amor she soon falls for its charm, and the local music teacher; the sweet and funny Oscar. But will her big job take her away from this newfound community, before she can experience the joys of a Carta de Amor Christmas Day?
